  • Start: Pick up at your accommodation in Melipeuco at approximately 04:00 hrs
  • End: Drop off at your accommodation in Melipeuco between approximately 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
  • Difficulty: High (the activity is planned according to weather conditions, mainly between October and April)
  • Includes: Transportation, tour guide, helmet, crampons, gaiters and trekking poles (all safety equipment)
  • Does not include: Entrance to Conguillío National Park, nor medical insurance against accidents
  • Restrictions: Not suitable for minors
  • Carried out by local guides and operators who know the region

  • Appropriate clothing (first layer, bandana, fleece, windbreaker, waterproof jacket, hat and trekking pants)
  • Mountain shoes and 35 - 45 liter backpack. Pair of change socks
  • Flashlight and gloves (polar or waterproof depending on the season)
  • UV protection glasses and sunscreen
  • Water bottle (minimum 1.5L)
  • Walking ration (snacks, fruit, sandwich and/or cookies, etc.) - box lunch
